Posey, a three-time all-District 17-5A pick, comes off an undefeated state champion Houston Milby team ranked No. 1 in the Class 5A boys basketball poll by Mike Kunstadt's Texas Basketball Review.com... He scored six points and grabbed four rebounds in the state title game, a 72-67 win over Cedar Hill on March 13, 2004... Scored eight points in 11 minutes of play during the state semifinal game, an 85-62 win over Klein Collins... Named first team all-state and second-team all-greater Houston area after senior season where he averaged 12.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steals per game... Scored 10 points for the Blue team at the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC) All-Star game May 4,... Set a school record his senior season shooting 65.0 percent from the field... Ranked among the top 40 recruits by Texas Basketball Review (27), Texas Roundball Review (33), Wes Grandstaff's Hoopscoop Magazine (32) and was ranked nationally by Hoopscoopnline.com (269)...
