Founded by David Salinas and Brian Bjork in 1992, Houston Select continues to reflect their love and passion for the game of basketball. Houston Select is a fully-funded summer basketball program designed to assist high school coaches and enhance the skills of their referred players; achieve success and showcase their talents for collegiate evaluations; and promote the virtues of academic excellence thru coordinated guidance.

Houston Select is proud that 51 of 61 of its former players have received their undergraduate degrees and nine are on track to graduate by 2007. Today, the classes of 1996 thru 2001 find its members pursuing careers in law (2), medical school (3), engineering, finance, management, real estate, professional basketball (8); and even the coaching profession (4).
